Sick of your stupid job? Maybe you have a boss you don’t like? Wanna risk everything you’ve built in your life for 1-2 years of glory before you’re (eventually) raided by JCODE? Oh boy do I have the talk for you!
Come by to learn how darknet vendors set up shop on the dark web to sell their product(s), from initial OpSec decisions to exit strategies. We’ll explore the technical infrastructure behind current-day marketplace operations, analyze real vendor OpSec failures that led to their arrest, and examine the never ending game between criminals and law enforcement. Through this talk, you’ll understand the lifecycle of darknet operations – from a new player to federal indictments.
This talk will break down the business and technical decisions that vendors (and buyers) make, why their OpSec inevitably fails (for the most part), and what these failures teach us about securing legitimate operations.
